Charging the Equipment

 

At the end of a training session, it is important to charge the virtual reality equipment to ensure that it can be used again during the next session without any problems. The following items need to be charged:

HTC VIVE Pro Controllers

Both of the controllers should be connected to the USB charger with the provided micro USB cable.

An orange LED on the controllers indicates that they are charging. A green LED indicates that they are fully charged and on. A white LED indicates that they are fully charged and off. They take two hours for a complete charge and last approximately seven hours.

Power Bank

The power bank should be connected to the USB charger with the provided USB cable. To ensure a fast charge, ensure that this is connected into the USB slot that is marked as QC 3.0. if available

A flashing green light indicates that the power bank is charging. Four solid green lights indicate that the power bank is fully charged. A full charging cycle takes about 3.5 hours. The power bank lasts approximately 2.5 hours

Keyboard and Mouse

The keyboard and mouse will also need to be charged but this should not be required at the end of each training session. The battery level indicator can be found on the side of the mouse and on the top of the keyboard. This level should be monitored and then when required, they can be charged using the USB cable provided.
