Disinfection Of A Horizontal Surface

Innerspace Human Error Analysis has shown that operators make Human Errors when disinfecting surfaces such as wiping surfaces in the wrong direction, failing to overlap lanes and not allowing for the correct exposure times.

In this unit, the trainee will learn about the importance of correctly disinfecting surfaces inside the cleanroom.

The training exercises will teach the trainee the correct technique to use when cleaning surfaces and they will be guided by audio and visual feedback to ensure that operator creates awareness of his own weaknesses and to ensure that cleaning and disinfection of surfaces is performed correctly.

Human Errors

Innerspace Human Error Analysis has shown that operators:

  • Fail to correctly overlap their laminar lanes when cleaning surfaces.

  • Are not aware of the importance of overlapping laminar lanes.

  • Are not aware how important it is to avoid moving their body over disinfected areas of items.

  • Move too fast with their hands during cleaning and disinfection.

Learning Objectives

In this Unit the trainee practices:

  • Applying the technique of laminar disinfection of a horizontal surface to avoid contamination.

  • Avoiding putting their body parts over already disinfected areas during disinfection.

  • Avoiding moving too fast with hand during disinfection.

  • Transferring these abilities to Virtual Key Moments (Exam) and Real Key Moments.

Feedback Features

The trainee is guided by immediate feedback:

  • DeepVision

  • Highlighting of lanes

  • Audio and visual feedback when errors occur.

  • No parameterizations
